And this recipe comes just from that book. Easy and fast, fruit that becomes a dessert: what's better?
What you need for 2:
2 firm, ripe pears
g 100 blueberries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons brown sugar
ground black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Peel the pears thinly. Cut in half lengthways. Scoop out the core from each half. Brush the pears with lemon juice to stop them browning.
- Cut two squares of double-thickness foil, each large enough to wrap a pear. Place two pears halves on each square, cute side upwards. Gather the foil around the pears, to hold them level.
- Mix the blueberries and sugar together and spoon them on top of the pears. Sprinkle with black pepper. Wrap the foil over and make sure it is properly sealed. Cook for 20-25 minutes until the fruit is tender.
Note: After many requests, I finally decided to write my blog in English to make it easier to read for my readers all around the world. But please be patient, I know my English is not perfect!
Two of my favorite fruits together, this must be heavenly.
